My name is Michelle Schlacks. I am a junior this year, and I transferred from UC Irvine. My hometown is in Missouri, and I decided this year I wanted to go to college somewhere a little closer to home which is why I chose Illinois. My major is information sciences. I chose this major because I started as computer science and I realized that I wanted to be more in tune with the human side of things and not just the computer side.
